The greatest artist of the 90′s (declared by VH1) Mariah Carey releases her new boxing themed music video “Triumphant” with Rick Ross and Meek Mill co directed by her hubby Nick Cannon! YOU gotta LOVE IT! Cannon must have caught the boxing bug during the shoot as he prepares to be a ring announcer for the first time for upcoming Andre Ward vs. Chad Dawson World Championship showdown, set to take place September 8 at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California and televised live on HBO® World Championship Boxing at 9:45 p.m. ET/PT.

As we anxiously await the release of her new video for “Triumphant (Get’Em)” featuring Rick Ross and Meek Mill, Mariah Carey teased pictures from the video set on Instagram to tide fans over. With the word “TRIUMPHANT” boldly splayed across the back of his golden robe, Meek stars in the Nick Cannon-directed video as a boxer heading into the ring with Mimi and Ross at his side, hoping to demolish and triumph against his competition.The ever-glamorous Carey does not disappoint in the pictures, looking like a Hollywood starlet in diamonds and a curve-hugging gold dress while Ross lives up to his Don status in a sharp suit and floor-length fur coat.The song, co-produced by Bryan-Michael Cox and Carey’s right-hand man, Jermaine Dupri, is the first single being released off of Carey’s highly anticipated upcoming album, which is due out next year. Cox told MTV News, “This song is kind of inspirational. It’s close to her heart, and I think her fans are going to really, really be emotionally attached to this song.” Mimi, who co-wrote the song, tweeted that she wrote this song during a “difficult time” and by the title, we are sure she will come out on top.

Tyson’s One Man Show Arrives in Broadway, “Undisputed Truth” debuted Tuesday, July 31,2012 with quite a bang!
Though cameras were not allowed, we captured some of the action outside the theater. Some of the VIP’s were Kanye West, 50 Cent and Spike Lee who produced the show. In front of me were actors from HBO’s shows as well as MTV hosts that others recognized. It was rumored Puffy was in the audience as well as Don King.
Tyson proved he is still a fighter, as he picked on many people such Teddy Atlas and Mitch Greene, with a great comic performance! (not recomended for children – foul language and foul references especially toward Robin Givens.)

He never thought he wanted to be a fighter, he said while in juvenile detention who thought bigger like “Gangster” whor so he laughed, well until Muhammed Ali came to spar. Then he did what he could do learn how to fight and was introduced to someone who then introduced him to the great, Cus D’amato. Cus told him follow my map for success and I will make you the youngest Heavyweight Champ!” ”I already hold that title with Floyd Patterson at age 21 but we can get you in at age 20.” Tyson spoke of how encouraging and loving Cus and his family were to him and how lost he was when he passed. He said when Tyson was depressed Cus would massage his mind and make him hunger for glory!

USA is leading the Olympics in London 4-0 as of July 29, 2012.
Marcus Browne is three time Golden Glove winner representing the USA.

50 Cent to promote Floyd?
Floyd Mayweather’s close friend “50 Cent” a.k.a. Curtis Jackson has reportedly formed TMT (The Money Team) Promotions and been licensed to promote fights in New York. A application is also pending in Nevada. In addition to promoting or co-promoting the fights of Floyd Mayweather (who already owns Mayweather Promotions), it is expected that the company will sign Yuriorkis Gamboa and Andre Dirrell.
Mayweather is scheduled to be released from the Clark County Detention Center on August 3.

Mayfield signs contract to fight Serrano
SAN FRANCISCO (March 29, 2012) – On May 18, undefeated NABO light welterweight champion, Karim “Hard Hitta” Mayfield (15-0-1, 9 KOs), headlines ESPN2 “Friday Night Fights” when he defends his title against Philadelphia’s Raymond Serrano (18-0, 8 KOs) at the Exhibition Hall at The Times Union Center in Albany, New York. Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing in association with Prize Fight Promotions will promote the 10-round bout.
Mayfield, a San Francisco native, is no stranger to fighting on the east coast. Recently, he was in Philadelphia sparring with Danny Garcia in preparation for Garcia’s fight with Erik Morales. On October 1, 2011, Mayfield dominated Patrick Lopez (20-5, 12 KOs) winning a unanimous decision to capture the vacant WBO NABO light welterweight title.
I’ve been in the ring with Manny Pacquiao, Antonio Margarito, Robert Guerrero and many other world class fighters,” Mayfield said. “I know I got the talent to become a world champion. I’m in great shape and I’m always ready to go in case a fight comes up. I’ve been in the gym working hard and my timing is on point.”
“Virgil Hunter, who’s one of the best trainers in the world, will be working my corner. He’s guided me to victory before and I know together, we’ll come up with a masterful game plan.”
“This is a big opportunity for Karim to show the world he’s an elite fighter,” said Prize Fight promoter Brian Young. “This will be the first time Mayfield headlines a nationally televised main event and we believe he has all the talent to become a world champion. If he’s victorious, we want to push for a title shot by the end of the year.”
This is a big opportunity for Serrano, who is seeking his first regional title. He’ll be fighting close to his hometown of Philadelphia where he’s fought most of his career.
“Serrano is a tough guy with a good record and I’ll be going into his backyard for this fight,” Mayfield said. “But I’m on a mission to get that world title shot and I’m not going to let anyone stop me. I’m just going to keep winning and let my management and promotional teams do their jobs. I’m taking on all comers but my focus right now is strictly on Serrano. I’ts an honor to be fighting as the main-event on ESPN. It’s my time to shine.”
